30 Miles Film Stefano Veneruso

30Miles Film S.r.l.

30Miles Film Srl, is an independent film and theater production, born in 2009 from the passion for cinema of Stefano Veneruso and from the solid previous experience in the film industry, matured with the ESTERNO MEDITERRANEO FILM Srl, Massimo Troisi's film production company.
Stefano Veneruso (director, screenwriter and producer) began his carrier as assistant director on Academy Award-winning film The Postman, (Il Postino), contemporaneously directed it's Behind the Scenes, Speciale Il Postino (A Look Inside), awarded with several prizes. Stefano moved then to Los Angeles and studied filmmaking at both UCLA and the AFI at the same time working for the film production company Cecchi Gori Pictures. In 2005 Stefano Veneruso produced and directed the film All the Invisible Children (distributed in over 120 countries) co-directed among others by Ridley Scott, Spike Lee, Emir Kusturica and John Woo. The film partecipated in the festivals of Venice, Toronto, Cannes, Tokyo, and others.

30Miles Film has also developed a series of international theatrical and film projects including: 7 Dwarfs at Auschwitz based on an incredible true story, set during the Holocaust period, inspired by the life of the seven legendary Ovich brothers, and The Years of the Father based on a true story that tells of a very tense father and son relationship.
In 2020 directed, wrote and produced the film Starting tomorrow I’ll get up late with John Lynch and Gabriella Pession.
In 2019 he is curator, supervisor and producer with Istituto Luce Ciunecitta of the multimedia exhibition Troisi poeta Massimo.
In 2019 he is author and director of the play Troisi Poeta Massimo.
In 2018 he is the author together with Lello Arena and Enzo Decaro and director of the show Annunciazione Annunciazione! in piazza del Plebiscito, Naples, in honor of Massimo Troisi and the 40 years of ''La Smorfia'', with Pippo Baudo, Renzo Arbore, Giancarlo Magalli, Massimo Lopez, Massimo Bonetti, Marisa Laurito, Marco Messeri, Nino Frassica, etc.
In 2015 he is director and producer of the documentary Insanity I danni dell’inverno.
In 2014 he is director and co-author of the play What do I think of Switzerland (Cosa ne penso della Svizzera), played by Giancarlo Giannini.
In 2011 directed the docu-film on the life of Franco Califano, one of the best Italian singers and song writers, We, People of September selected at the Rome Film Festival 2011.
In 2010 Stefano worked as director for the theater Caravaggio - The exile of a man in search of God.
In 2004 Stefano directed the music video Teach me again with Tina Turner and Elisa.
In 2005 Stefano directed and produced All the Invisible Children, released in 120 countries, directed among others by Spike Lee, John Woo and Ridley Scott.
In 2004 Stefano worked as assistant to Mel Gibson on the set of  The Passion of The Christ.
In 2000 Stefano worked as an assistant to Martin Scorsese on the film Gangs of New York.
In 1997 Stefano produced the compact disc Nei Tuoi Occhi, in commemoration of Massimo Troisi. The CD, a collection of love poems by the world-renown poet Pablo Neruda read by notorious Italian artists, eventually racked up huge commercial rewards and critical accolades, selling 250,000 copies.
